Anyone who has gotten Married at Bass Lake, The Pines?

I am looking to see if anyone has gotten married at The Pines resort at Bass Lake in California. I am looking at it for my wedding site in 2009 and wanted some feedback from Brides who have been through it. If you are out there I would love to see what the pros and cons you had were.

1. I don't know about the weather there or what time of year you are looking at. My friends got married in "the pines" in New Hampshire. It was outside in the woods/mountains and near a lake. Very beautiful, but in the beginning of May - very very buggy. There were gnats and mosquitos everywhere. Bug spray was necessary and didn't even help that much. Just consider the time of year you are getting married and if swarms of bugs hatching will be a problem.
2. I've been to a couple of weddings up there. One at the pines, and one at the lake itself. Both are ideal places for a very beautiful wedding. The only cons to getting married near the lake itself is if it rains the ground is really really really muddy. other then that.. it's gorgeous. The resort has some lovely reception rooms. good luck. :)
