Does Lost Pines, TX really exist? This is for a paper.?
I'm researching a resort called Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa. The address on the website of the resort says it's in Lost Pines, TX and gives the zip code 78612. However, that zip code belongs to Cedar Falls, TX. Most of my references also refer to Bastrop, TX for the location of this resort. I'm confused which town I should give credit to during my presentation. Is it just in the middle of nowhere? Or what? Thanks for the help.

- Lost Pines is west of Bastrop, off Highway 71, maybe 8 or 9 niles. There's a sign. It is just a bit farther than where 21 splits off of 71 (if driving west). I've driven past it several times, but never stayed. From Austin, it is about 15 miles east of the Ben White/I-35 intersection. EDIT: I just checked out the web site. Looks like a nice place. http://lostpines.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp
